To help you decide where to stay, we have identified three regions of Albuquerque where you might consider booking a hotel. Please click images to enlarge them.

The three regions are: (a) downtown/Old Town (near the ceremony/after party sites); (b) near the reception site (El Pinto); and (c) near the airport. We do not recommend any of these over the other, nor have we had blocks of rooms held at any property shown. Rather, these are intended to be a rough guide for those unfamiliar with the city.

As you can see, the reception site is rather distant from the ceremony site and the airport:

The distance between the ceremony site and the informal after party site is minimal, and there are plenty of options from standard to luxurious to uniquely New Mexican in the Old Town and downtown areas. That said, these areas are not necessarily walkable for safety reasons, and particularly after dark, you should walk as a group if staying in this area. Of course, if you want to make it easy, you can stay at Hotel Andaluz, where we will be after the reception.

If you wish to call it a night right after the reception, staying near El Pinto may be a good option. There are many inexpensive chain hotels along the highway.

And of course, for those with early flights on Sunday, staying near the airport is a tried and true maneuver.
